HUNNEWELL CEMETERY
a/k/a GODFREY CEMETERY
Submitted by Pat Morrison

Return to Index:

Godfrey Cemetery (a/k/a Hunnewell Cemetery) is about a mile west of the town of Hunnewell, Missouri on the old highway.  Drive down into Hunnewell and at the stop sign go west about a mile.  It will be on the left or south side of the road.  It is fairly well maintained however there are some stones down on their faces which could not be read without help to right them.  I walked this cemetery 15 May 1998.  I started in the northeast corner and went first north to south then next row south to north, alternating with each row.  There are quite a few older stones with moss etc on them which could not be read.
