I am searching for information on my Grandmother, Carrie L. Marmaduke, born in Missouri October, 1862. She married William Clutter, who was, also, born in Missouri about 1852. In the 1870 Census of Shelby County, Clarence Twp, Mo., William is listed as 17 years of age. In the 1900 census of Macon County William and Carrie are listed with their children. I have hit a "brick wall" in finding any information about her parents (my g-grandparents). As late as 1900, Carrie and William were listed in the Census of Macon County so I feel confident that Carrie's parents came from the immediate area.  In 1885 the Governor of Missouri was John S. Marmaduke. I have no idea if he was related to Carrie. Any help you could provide would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm looking for information on the John Albert TOBIN family. John married Nancy Catherine COLE on February 17, 1885. They had eight children and one named Carl died at age 17 and is buryed next to his mother in Evergreen cemetery. The children grew up in Shelbyville. My
grandmother, Sallie, was born April 17, 1894 and married Harry Bruce MARTIN in Clarence on December 24, 1913. Her youngest brother Todd was born March 16, 1901. A sister of hers, Ada Virginin, married a WAITE and was still living in Clarence at the time of her mother's death, on January 15, 1917.   My grandmother's middle name was TAYLOR. Family tradition says that her other Nancy's great, great uncle was President Zachary Taylor, but this has not been verified. Most of this Tobin family moved away. Their son's, Paul, Bryan, Bland and Todd, were all living in Detoit at the time of their mother's death. Nancy actually died in Detoit. This is about all the information I have on this family. I do know that John died on October 13, 1927, but I don't know where. Any leads would be appreciated. My E-mail is eleos ((a))hotmail.com

BUZZARD  Am seeking data on LABAN BUZZARD (born abt.1807 in Harrison County, Kentucky, the son of JOHN & MARY-or POLLY-JOHNSON BUZZARD) and data on his descendants. Laban's mother, MARY (or POLLY) JOHNSON was a daughter of LABAN JOHNSON of Ky. Laban was married at least 2 times. His first wife was REBECCA BEAN
whom he married in Harrison Co., Ky. on Aug. 14, 1827 and had no  known children by this marriage. His second wife was FANNY BELL whom he married in Harrison Co., Ky. on March 24, 1835. His known children by his second wife are: HULDAH J. BUZZARD (born
abt. 1836 in Ky.); SARAH B. BUZZARD (born abt. 1837 in Ky.); MARY F. BUZZARD (born abt. 1846 in Ky.); and LAURA B. BUZZARD (born in 1850 in Ky.). There may have been other children by both wives. Laban & his family had moved to Marion County, Missouri by 1850 but by 1870 had moved to Shelby County, Missouri.  Any information about Laban Buzzard & his descendants will be most greatly appreciated. Will be glad to exchange information about these families.

Meshack Vanlandingham married Sally Moss in 1811 in KY and they moved to Missouri. Unconfirmed family history says Meshack moved to Shelby Co., MO in 1832 but no record has been located concerning Meshack after 1832. Any information would be appreciated. I have information on Meshack's ancestors, and on his brother's descendants and will exchange with anyone interested.                  Vanlandi((a))CompuVision.net
